Red Wine Marinade

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups (375 mL) dry red wine
1/4 cup (50 mL) red wine vinegar
1/2 cup (125 mL) olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp (5 mL) black peppercorns, crushed


Instructions
Combine all ingredients; whisk briskly before use.
